Healthy Heroes Preschool Summer Camp Plan

Join us on a healthy adventure! We’ll sort fruits, veggies, and snacks into categories of healthiness, create food group collages, and use songs and rhymes to dance our way through handwashing and dental care fun. Healthy Heroes is an interactive preschool lesson plan that encourages children to construct knowledge through meaningful play, thoughtfully 
planned activities, and active exploration of the environment. Children will focus on learning about healthy habits, wellness, and nutrition. While the unit incorporates many different Pennsylvania Learning Standards, it focuses on the key learning area of “Health, Wellness, and Physical Development.” Specifically, children will engage in learning activities that meet the 
PA Standard Areas: Concepts of Health, Healthful Living, and Gross Motor Coordination.
