Better World Kids' Day Out Activities

Small acts of kindness make a big difference in our community! We’ll create a Kindness Tree, share ideas for helping others, and play a fun game to find ways we can spread kindness every day. This lesson plan is designed to ignite curiosity, foster creativity, and develop problem-solving skills. Throughout the day, students will engage in a variety of activities that blend art, social-emotional learning, hands-on engineering, and scientific exploration. While the lesson plan incorporates many different Pennsylvania Learning Standards, it focuses on the key learning areas of “Social Studies Thinking” and “Social Emotional Learning.” Specifically, students will engage in learning activities that meet the PA Standard Areas: Civics and Government, as well as Establishing and Maintaining Relationships.
