Bee the Change Kids' Day Out Activities

Buzz into the world of pollinators and discover how bees, butterflies, and birds help plants grow! Play a fun pollination game, make butterfly feeders, and learn how pollen travels from flower to flower. Let’s celebrate the amazing helpers of spring! Bee the Change is designed to ignite curiosity, foster creativity, and develop problem-solving skills. Throughout the day, students will engage in a variety of activities that blend art, social-emotional learning, hands-on engineering, and scientific exploration. While the lesson plan incorporates many different Pennsylvania Learning Standards, it focuses on the key learning areas of “Scientific Thinking” and “Creative Thinking and Expression.” Specifically, students will engage in learning activities that meet the PA Standard Areas: Visual Arts and Biological Sciences.
