Masterpiece Makers Kids' Day Out Activities

Explore the world of famous artists and their creations! Learn about masters like Van Gogh and Picasso, create your own masterpiece inspired by their styles, and showcase your art in a fun gallery walk. Plus, discover how tall famous sculptures are compared to you! Throughout the day, students will engage in a variety of activities that blend art, social-emotional learning, hands-on engineering, and scientific exploration. While the lesson plan incorporates different Pennsylvania Learning Standards, it focuses on the key learning area of “Creative Thinking and Expression.” Specifically, students will engage in learning activities that meet the PA Standard Areas of Critical Responses to Works of Art.
