Globetrotters Kids' Day Out Activities

Pack your suitcase and travel the globe! On our adventures this week, we’ll learn about different countries and continents, explore the world around us with Spanish vocabulary, design straw Eiffel towers, and draw suitcases full of items we’ll need for our destination vacation! Globetrotters is an interactive school-age lesson plan that encourages students to construct knowledge through thoughtfully planned activities and active exploration of their environment. Although the lesson plan incorporates many different Pennsylvania Learning Standards, it focuses on the key learning area of “Social Studies Thinking.” Specifically, students will engage in learning activities that meet the PA Standard Areas: Geography and Visual Arts.
