Data Detectives Kids' Day Out Activities

Grab your magnifying glass and get ready to explore the world of numbers! Solve hidden math clues, dig up and graph sandbox treasures, and track scores in a fun team game. Get ready for some mystery, math, and data-driven fun! Throughout the day, campers will engage in a variety of activities that blend art, social-emotional learning, hands-on engineering, and scientific exploration. While the lesson plan incorporates many different Pennsylvania Learning Standards, it focuses on the key learning area of “Mathematical Thinking and Expression”. Specifically, students will engage in learning activities that meet the PA Standard Areas: Operations and Algebraic Thinking; Geometry; and Measurement, Data, and Probability.
