Cocoa Craze After School Activities

Time to feel warm and cozy! Grab a mug and get excited for a week of hot cocoa-themed activities! We’ll make take-home cocoa cones and design our own paper mugs. We’ll measure classroom items to compare them with marshmallows, learn about the history of hot chocolate, and compete in a marshmallow toss showdown. While the lesson plan incorporates many different Pennsylvania Learning Standards, it focuses on the key learning area of “Creative Thinking and Expression.” Students will also engage in activities that meet PA Standard Areas of Science, Social Studies, and Physical Activity.
