Builders' Workshop After School Activities

Grab your toolbox and hard hat to gear up for a week of creative craftsmanship! Explore the basic tools that construction workers use and discover mind-blowing structures from around the world that were all built by human hands. Show off your own handiwork by designing wooden magnets and working together to build the tallest block tower. While the lesson plan incorporates many different Pennsylvania Learning Standards, students will engage in specific activities that meet the PA Standard Areas of Science, Social Studies, Health, Wellness, and Physical Development, and Visual Arts.
